Challenge

For the customer's new product development project, the range hood is required to be equipped with 8 color film buttons, which need to take into account the structural matching of the whole machine, the hand feel of the buttons, and the backlight display effect. At the same time, it must adapt to overseas safety standards, and also ensure the reliability of the buttons and the consistency of appearance during mass production.

Solution

An 8-key color film button solution customized and adapted for the complete machine is developed. It optimizes the button stroke and pressing feedback, adjusts the backlight uniformity, matches the interface of the range hood main control board, completes safety-related test and verification, realizes the integrated adaptation of structure, electricity and appearance, and meets the assembly requirements of customers' new complete machines.

Result

Successfully completed the supporting work for the customer's new product development. The key touch feel, color film color, and backlight performance all meet the standards. The complete machine assembly is smooth, and there are no defects such as key failure, uneven backlight, and appearance flaws during the mass trial production.
